Reviews and critiques involve a high level review of the
grant at various stages of development. Reviews look at the grant from
administrative and logic flow perspectives, and evaluate if:
- The authors provide the necessary information to make the
business case to justify the product;
- The team has the proper credentials and expertise;
- The budget is appropriate;
- The team has the resources necessary to carry out the work;
- The scientific arguments are logical and meet the
requirements for the next steps in the developmental process.
The critique would point out weaknesses and strengths of the proposal and whether the proposal was following an effective and compelling pathway.
